Prime ingredients used while making this Goyna Bori are Cowpea, Poppy seed and various type of Spices with Bengali Posto (Poppy seeds) as its base. Each artist (Goyna Bori maker) chooses their own designs. Triangles, circles and squares are common along with other geometric designs like shells, lotus, cats, cactus, peacock, owls, poultry, butterflies and many others.
