This Tal Gur Barfi is made out of Tal Rosh (Palmyra Juice) extracted from the very early stage of plum formation in the tree during mid April to mid June. The juice is then processed in the same manner as the date juice is processed for making Patali Gur (Palm Jaggery). The juice is put on fire for turning it into Gur (Jaggery). Gradually it takes burgundy colour and semi solid form.
